Abstract: Planning for the Post-Industrial City will address long-term growth strategies, issues of now-fallow land, connections between communities and a city's natural resources, understanding of current and future economic drivers, and how improved linkages between all are key to growth and success in a very competitive world. Also discussed “Urban Acupuncture” – a concept to describe how energy flows in cities and how, when it is blocked, both government and citizens have to step in to unblock it.
